The Young Team India has done it by defying all odds and it was simply implausible and mesmerizing!!
This performance has surely washed away all the painful memories of 2007 World Cup played in West Indies. This T20 World Cup would not have come at a better time for both India as well as Pakistan as both the countries were trying to get over the disappointment of the 2007 World Cup and this will definitely reinvigorate both the teams.
But, what a performance by Misbah up Haq!! It takes a lion’s heart to refuse to take a single in death and then hitting two sixes to bring this clash as close as it had reached! Also, the way Mahendra Singh Dhoni has marshaled the Team India towards this victory is simply awe-inspiring and he has proved that he has become the captain of the One day side Team India not due to the dearth of players who are ready to take responsibility; but due to his sheer leadership skills and the love of the game!
One thing is for sure that the Twenty Twenty version is here to stay and this victory could not have come at a worst time than this for ICL!
